  USBE&IT has brought forth the stories that have changed how the Black community in America is perceived. The magazine told the story of Dr. Mark Dean, the African-American engineer who is widely credited with making the IBM PC a part of our daily lives and countless other breakthroughs brought about by Black engineers and technologists. Through the magazine's pages, the always-changing world of technology has been interpreted with a unique Black perspective, highlighting the role that people of color play in the development of technology and reporting on technology's social impact. USBE&IT helps the Black community navigate corporate culture and keep abreast of the latests developments in their fields.
