CCG offers four powerful annual conferences that celebrate diversity by recognizing minorities who have achieved outstanding success in their technology careers. Each of these three-day events culminates with an awards ceremony. Everyone who attends these recognition events leaves realizing that they have witnessed something very special. The ceremonies, along with the exhibits, job fairs, seminars, and other special events, create a highly charged environment. Minority technology professionals, college technology students, and interested pre-college students are eager to meet with companies committed to diversity and to learn more about the excellent careers they offer.

CCG’s corporate and government partners use the conferences as opportunities to connect with the 7,000 to 10,000 conference attendees. They use their exhibit space to discuss jobs, careers, their diversity programs, and their organization, with potential applicants and other interested attendees. They use the sponsored receptions, luncheons, and special events to network with the many high-profile professionals and executives, from Corporate America and high-tech government agencies, who attend and participate.

CCG’s goal is to have each of its partners establish an ongoing active level of participation each year. The organizations thatactively participate by nominating employees for recognition, encouraging management and employee attendance, presenting an attractive exhibit, sponsoring a special event, and establishing a magazine and Web presence are the most satisfied with their results.
